Memorial Service for James Konyu, Sept. 3rd

Candle---In-MemoryFrom the Konyus:

We are all still reeling from the sudden passing of James S. Konyu, our father and husband . There is a hole in our hearts that cannot be filled. The loss of a son, a brother, a father, a friend, a statistician, and a husband is hard to come to terms with, not something that we want to come to terms with. But we have not been given a choice in this,  as so often happens in this world. More importantly Dad, Jim, Mr K, Hunny Bunny; would not have wanted us to mourn him. He would have wanted us to celebrate him, and the life he shared with us. He would have want us to remember the impact that he made upon each of us. The drive that he instilled into us to better ourselves, improve our communities, and solidify our church and belief in God. Jim loved his Lord and was a very committed Christian man.  He led his life, with that love as his cornerstone. His community, the church, and his family were shown that love by his humble  examples.

We invite you to a memorial service in honor of the life and celebration of the great man, James Konyu, on September 3nd at 10am at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. If you have a story or memory that you would like to share, (one that would encourage the family) there will be an opportunity during the services. So please feel free to come with stories, jokes, experiences, or remembrances of the life you shared with Jim.

There will be a fellowship reception to follow the service.

The Konyu family will be hosting a open house from 1-4pm at their home:
